Readying Barbecue Chicken For The Grill

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s Original BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup homemade barbecue sauce
  • 4-5 pieces of boneless, skinless, all-natural chicken breasts

Barbecue Chicken Preparation Directions:

In order to conduct the taste test, it’s important to keep your chicken breasts separate. Use two different plates to do this and two different sections of your grill for cooking the chicken.

First, lightly coat one set of chicken breasts with the Sweet Baby Ray’s Original BBQ sauce, and lightly coat a second set using the homemade barbecue sauce. The rest of the sauce will be used to coat the chicken after pulling the finished pieces off the grill.

Turn your grill to medium heat. Depending on how hot the grill is, the ideal amount of grill time for your chicken is between 2-4 minutes on each side. The proper temperature for a desired doneness for chicken breasts is 165 degrees F.

Once the grill is hot, put chicken breasts on the grill and be careful to keep the breasts separate. Grill one side for 2-4 minutes, turn the chicken over and coat the grilled side with barbecue sauce.

When you plate the chicken, be sure to add another coat of barbecue sauce to the freshly grilled side.

Now, the only thing that’s left to do is enjoy! (Plus, let us know what you think.)
