Salisbury Steak Dinner with Less Than 10 Ingredients that the Family will Devour!

This is a go-to in the Five Star Family, and is portioned for four servings. It’s super easy to put together, and it comes together in under 45 minutes. Here’s what you’ll need: 

1 lb Five Star Ground Beef 
1 egg
1 tbsp Montreal Steak Seasoning
1 /2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
10 oz Sliced Mushrooms 
4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 pkg Brown Gravy Mix
1 cup Water
1 Package Five Star Organic Broccoli 
2 medium Sweet Potatoes 

How to Prepare

– Preheat oven to 350°F
– Wash and dry sweet potatoes, then wrap in tin foil 
– Place wrapped sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 45 – 60 minutes

While the sweet potatoes roast: 

– Mix Five Star Ground Beef in a bowl with: egg, Montreal Steak seasoning and Panko Bread Crumbs
– Form meat into 4 small Salisbury steaks and set aside
– Heat an oven safe pan on medium heat (be sure it has a lid!)
– Add butter to the pan and brown the Salisbury steaks on all sides; remove to the plate you had them on earlier
– Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes
– Sprinkle in the brown gravy mix and whisk in the water
– Bring to a boil and turn off the heat
– Add the steaks to the gravy, turn them to coat them, cover, then place into the same oven as the sweet potatoes to cook for 30 minutes 

– Place broccoli in a large microwave-safe bowl, and cover; heat just before dinner is ready 

Now, let’s get dinner on the table. You’ll know when the Salisbury steaks are done by checking their internal temperature. Check them after 30 minutes and they should be at 155°F or higher. The sweet potatoes will be fork tender when done. Heat the broccoli up and let’s serve up dinner!
